Delivering Australian infrastructure to shape the future of the region.
Vast and varied. Australia features unique landscapes, cultures and challenges that require bespoke solutions when it comes to delivering its built environment.
Since beginning Australian operations in 2008, we have worked to impact this rich territory by delivering key infrastructure programs to bolster vital services and even improve iconic landmarks. From the Sydney Opera House, to aviation and rail network upgrades, our client-first approach to program management has earned Mace a reputation for reliability and results.
Across nearly two decades, we have expanded operations from Sydney into Brisbane, Melbourne, and Newcastle, bringing a one-team mentality that is shifting program management in the region. Whether its decommissioning Sydney’s monorail, to expanding Air Service Australia’s control tower network, public sector projects or private client portfolios, we embed ourselves in client teams, applying global delivery expertise and collaboratively problem solving for the best possible outcomes on every program.
Engaging projects early in their lifecycle, we take knowledge gained from decades of complex construction program delivery to implement airtight project controls and put the right personnel in the right places to ensure long-term value.
We are securing Australia’s legacy through robust infrastructure to support thriving communities. Connected and resilient.
Global program management expertise
Our local expertise is strengthened by more than 35 years of global experience delivering major programs of work. From the London 2012 Olympics to Peru’s infrastructure reconstruction following El Niño, Mace has had a hand in delivering some of the world’s largest and most impactful programs of work. We prioritise knowledge sharing and capability building to ensure learnings from our global portfolio are applied across every project we delivery. We pair this with local understanding and client-focused discovery to ensure our solutions exist to meet specific needs perfectly.
Healthcare in our headlights
Renowned for healthcare infrastructure delivery from everywhere from the Americas to Europe, Mace is working to expand access and capabilities in Australia. With an understanding of the shifting challenges unique to this sector, and the local knowledge needed to maximise efficiency, we are delivering healthcare infrastructure in Australia at scale. We’re leveraging all of these tools and more to expand capacity at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Queensland, adding vital assets to the local community.
Improving resilience through infrastructure
Australian water consumption in larger cities is expected to rise by 73% to more than 2,650 gigalitres over the next 30 years. With climate change affecting this region similarly to others facing water concerns, building resilience in this area will soon become a primary focus. We are experienced in resilience capacity building at Mace, in the water sector and in other areas as needed by the regions and communities we serve. Public-private partnerships will have a role to play in addressing this concern. Our work to bolster resilience in regions like Peru through G2G agreements equip us to meet this challenge.
Controlling Australian airspace
When it comes to programs packed with technical nuances and challenges to overcome, we are far from out of our depth. Our experts know how to combine technical know-how with construction mastery to develop programs of work that are shorter, less costly and address all of the challenges that come with delivering technology-led infrastructure at scale. Our work with Air Services Australia demonstrates this, supporting the delivery of air traffic control towers across the country.
