Mace Foundation

We believe that companies have a responsibility to support the communities in which they work.

To enhance Mace's commitment to give back to local people, the Mace Foundation was launched in 2012. Each year we give 1% of our pre-tax profits to our communities.

And since 2012, the Mace Foundation, along with Mace people, have donated over £7.7million to over 550 charitable causes around the world.

The key theme for the Foundation is giving back to communities, with a focus on the following areas:

Education and employment: Practical support to educate disadvantaged and vulnerable people and help them secure employment.

Economic inequality: Supporting areas such as homelessness.

Health, wellbeing and environment: To align with Mace's wellbeing strategy and focus on mental health support.

The Foundation is committed to making a positive difference in the communities where Mace operates, through charitable activities which benefit the communities for the long-term.

Charity partnerships

The Foundation is passionate about working with charity partners and since 2013 has donated over £2million to support 11 charity partnerships including Mind, LandAid, Coram, Teenage Cancer Trust, Dubai Cares, and homelessness charity St Mungo's.

The Foundation has been able to build strong and enduring relationships with our charity partners and believe that investing in them for the long term is the best way to maximise the impact of our funding and pro bono support. This also enables the Foundation to build authentic partnerships which provide opportunities for Mace employees to give back.

The Mace Foundation receives a high number of unsolicited requests for funding. Unfortunately we are unable to consider them or respond to them.
