Transit connecting the world’s largest regional economy

The delivery team, made up of Mace, Parsons and Arcadis, is leading the Gateway Development Commission’s Hudson Tunnel Project. This $16 billion megaprogram is the largest mass transit investment in U.S. history, involving construction of a two-tube, 2.4-mile rail tunnel beneath the Hudson River and subsequent repair of the existing 1910-era North River Tunnel that was severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
