We take pride in our capability to impact cultures through the built environment. For more than three decades, we have worked to house and restore heritage estates while maintaining complex artifact collections. We thrive on creating new ways for communities around the globe to experience historic and culturally important buildings.
Our experience of delivering arts and culture facilities is as far reaching as the visitors they attract. Whether we are working on Grade I listed buildings in Europe or delivering innovative new designs in the Middle East, we strive to create inspiring places that celebrate art and culture while leaving a lasting legacy.
From The Tate Modern and the Bodleian Libraries, to the Dubai Expo 2020, our work spans continents and disciplines. But our commitment to finding a better way to deliver exceptional quality is consistent. This is what allowed us to deliver the London Eye, one of the most complex engineering projects in modern history.
When it comes to developing innovative solutions to deliver iconic structures, we’re well practiced. Our expertise and understanding of the unique challenges facing this sector allow our teams to deliver with confidence and creativity.
User-centric design
We’re motivated by delivering places that inspire communities – end users are always at the heart of our strategy and implementation. We innovate not just to support our clients and partners in delivering on time and to budget, but also to ensure an enriching experience for visitors for years to come.
Innovate around challenges
When we assumed the delivery charge for the London Eye, we got to work determining how to deliver the 135m-tall riverside structure. Assembly in the river, off-site manufacturing and a 17 hour, two-stage lift were all required to erect the 1,200-tonne structure. When we are presented a challenge, our teams get to work.
Consider the collections
We relish the opportunity to work in such close proximity to priceless artefacts, renowned books and curious people. We specialise in sympathetic construction, delivering complex projects with the highest regard for the integrity of the space and its collection.
