Mace wins exclusive place on next generation SCAPE 'Place Shaping' framework

Mace, the international consultancy and construction company, has won the sole supplier role on the SCAPE Consultancy | Place Shaping framework (England, Northern Ireland and Wales). 

As part of the direct award framework, managed by the UK’s leading public sector procurement authority, Mace will provide advice on estate modernisation, commercialisation of assets and strategic asset intervention to tackle climate change.

SCAPE Consultancy | Place Shaping has a combined value of £100m over the next four years, and will service projects in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. 

This new strategic framework for public sector organisations will commence in January 2021. Services will include development management, estate management and asset optimisation, risk management, policy making and strategy, transformation, commercial and procurement, funding, digitisation and climate action.  

Mace will lead this framework, supported by a strong supply chain including, ArlingClose, Gleeds, GL Hearn, Montagu Evans, Siemens and over 50 SMEs.  

The framework is designed to be used by public sector organisations looking to transform the way they deliver and operate their projects. From development to operations, the framework gives full consideration to the environment and impact on the climate, creating a positive impact for local communities.

The appointment demonstrates Mace’s capabilities to deliver advisory services, its ability to form long term partnerships with public sector clients, and its commitment to creating a net zero carbon world.
