Mace secures place on SCAPE’s construction framework

Mace, the global consultancy and construction company, has been awarded Lot 8 on the next generation of SCAPE’s Construction framework, with a potential work value of £1.5bn over the next four years and commences in September 2021.

As part of the direct award framework, Mace will provide feasibility, pre-construction, construction and aftercare services on public sector projects commissioned through SCAPE Construction across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

With a key focus on creating social value and a positive legacy for local communities, the framework is designed to ensure public sector projects are delivered to the highest quality and sustainability standards, whilst demonstrating value for money.

The framework win adds to Mace’s successful track record in delivering leading public sector construction projects including UCLH’s new ENT facility, bluelight projects across the Southeast, award winning higher education buildings and cutting-edge science, technology and research spaces.

The win follows Mace’s appointment on the newly created SCAPE Consultancy framework with a combined value of £100m over the next four years across projects in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Mace is leading this framework with services including development management, estate management and asset optimisation, risk management, policy making and strategy, transformation, commercial and procurement, funding, digitisation and climate action.

Terry Spraggett, Managing Director for Public Sector Construction at Mace, said:

“’We are delighted to be appointed to the Construction framework. Adrian Hill, acting deputy managing director at SCAPE said:
