Mace to drive public sector construction consultancy with new appointment to Crown Commercial Service’s Construction Professional Services framework
Mace, the international consultancy and construction company, has named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s Construction Professional Services framework (RM6165).
Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2020/21 CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04bn - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
The RM6165 Construction Professional Services framework offers the provision of construction-related professional services, used by central government departments and all other UK public sector bodies. It will replace the RM3741 Project Management and Full Design Team Services Framework, which expires in March 2022.
Mace has been awarded a place on the following lots, enabling the business to provide construction services across a variety of public sector bodies:
- Lot 1 – Built Environment & General Infrastructure
- Lot 5 – Defence
Jason Millett, Chief Executive Officer for Consultancy at Mace, commented:
“Following the launch of the RM6187 Management Consultancy Framework 3 in August, CCS has strengthened its offering for public sector bodies looking to purchase construction consultancy services competitively, reliably and efficiently through RM6165 Construction Professional Services framework.
“We are delighted to be awarded lots on the Construction Professional Service framework and look forward to working with the public sector to deliver essential construction consultancy services.”
