Mace is part of the team of professionals delivering One Za’abeel on behalf of its client Ithra Dubai. A new landmark in the heart of Dubai, One Za’abeel stands tall as a twin-tower development with a mega five-storey sky concourse, the Link, connecting the two towers on the North and South sides and suspended 100 meters above the ground.
The project achieved a major milestone in 2020 with the completion and lifting of the Link structure into its final position. At 226 meters long and weighing over 9,000 tonnes the Link’s ascent marked a record-breaking undertaking in modern construction.
The horizontal megastructure extends westward beyond the twin towers to face the Arabian Gulf and is set to become the world’s longest cantilevered building – a beacon of engineering ingenuity.
With spectacular panoramic views of Dubai, when completed The Link will offer tourists and residents an unparalleled choice of fine dining, luxury hospitality and entertainment venues, and will feature an observation deck and a rooftop terrace with a 110-meter infinity pool.
One Za’abeel includes premium office space, 263 high-end residential units, retail podium, 493 ultra-luxury hotel rooms and serviced apartments and the world's first One & Only urban resort. It is also aiming for Gold LEED certification, in line with the UAE Vision 2021 and its sustainable development goals.
