Project story
As the UAE’s most populous city continues to grow - attracting families from across the world, so too does the need for high-quality education facilities.
Drawing on the heritage and reputation of the Repton School in the UK, the Repton Dubai School was founded in 2007 and is now one of the leading educational facilities in the Middle East.
Maintaining the very highest of standards that their reputation demands, Mace was appointed in 2012 to conduct a comprehensive review of all the facilities management (FM) policies and procedures before going on to develop new and enhanced processes to streamline the FM offering.
Over the last few years, Mace’s relationship with Repton has grown to see us provide integrated FM services to four schools in the family - two in Dubai and two in Abu Dhabi.
The safety of children in a school environment is paramount, that’s why Mace prioritised fire and life safety in handover snagging inspections for the new school. This approach resulted in a 100% pass rate from all local authority compliance inspections, assisting the schools to retain their ‘excellent’ overall grading.
Mace’s continuous drive to align with client’s needs has seen innovations in design and energy saving, as well as the use of Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems to host complete population of asset data onto central databases, creating accurate records and enabling efficient asset maintenance programmes.
