Since 2010, we have partnered with University College London Hospital (UCLH) to deliver a variety of critical improvement works across its diverse estate, ranging from listed Victorian to modern hospital accommodation. Our work has varied in complexity and size to support UCLH in delivering high-quality care to more than 170,000 admitted patients and over one million outpatients annually.
We have been appointed to provide programme and project management services on a wide range of projects as part of UCLH’s capital programme, contributing to a broader healthcare strategy. Our commissions have included the expansion and reconfiguration of the Emergency Department, relocation of the Clinical Research Facility, and decanting of the five-storey Rosenheim building. More recently, we managed the delivery of two new and four refurbished neurology and complex spinal theatres at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and constructed a new state-of-the-art centre for ENT and dental services.
In addition to project delivery, we have supported UCLH in improving systems and processes required to manage, monitor, and report against the capital programme. Our innovative approach, including a unique offsite hybrid façade for the ENT treatment centre, has significantly enhanced UCLH's ability to provide high-quality care. The new ENT centre is one of the biggest specialist centres in Europe, carrying out 200,000 appointments each year and focusing on pioneering research.
Our long-standing relationship with UCLH has enabled us to support the improvement of emergency department facilities, ensuring continuity of vital services and creating a strategy for the future.
