Mace Macro takes home two trophies at the Middle East FM Awards

Mace Macro, the facilities management arm of Mace, has taken home two trophies at the 2019 Middle East Facilities Management Awards.

Macro was named as 'Facilities Management Consultancy of the Year'. The judges noted Macro’s increase in operational growth, as well as praising the variety of consultancy services offered across whole asset life cycle of a project.

The second award was won by Macro’s Adham Al Naamani, Facilities Manager for the National Museum Oman, who was named as 'FM Middle East Facilities Manager of the Year' . Adham’s well-deserved win not only makes him the first Omani national to be presented with this award; but he was also singled out by the judges for his outstanding contribution to the community.

Macro was a gold sponsor of the event. This is the tenth year Macro has received recognition in at least one category at the awards, which is now in its 12th year.

Adham Al Naamani, FM Middle East Facilities Manager of the Year, said:

“Winning this award means a lot to me. This is the first time in the history of these awards where an Omani national has been awarded FM Manager of the Year. I am really proud and thankful. It puts Oman on the map and demonstrates the growing importance of the FM industry in my country and the wider GCC. I started my career as a logistics driver and I am grateful that I have been recognised amongst my peers - this proves that anything is possible”
