Mace is one of the UK’s top undergraduate employers

Last week the leading website on undergraduate opportunities RateMyPlacement announced that Mace had been ranked 62nd in its first entry into the Top 100 Undergraduate Employers list.

Our ranking was based on anonymous reviews written by students who worked for Mace in 2015, including those who attended the undergraduate Insight Week or completed a summer or industrial placement. The review asked questions about the student’s complete experience including the recruitment process, level of responsibility and the amount of support they received from line managers and senior colleagues.

Group Human Resources Director, Tracey Locke commented: "This is a great result and a positive reflection on the strategy to increase our undergraduate recruitment to build stronger talent pipelines. Well done to all involved in providing such a great experience for undergraduates".

Welcome to our graduate ‘class of 2016’

Today, our 2016 graduate intake will come together for their first induction into Mace. The intake of 70 graduates will be welcomed by chief executive, Mark Reynolds and will also have the opportunity to visit one of Mace’s live construction projects. The induction event will provide an introduction to the Mace Graduate Development Programme and include guidance on the key behaviours that will help the graduates make a positive impact as soon as possible. Our 2016 graduate intake includes colleagues starting their careers in a wide variety of Mace’s business unit including those recruited in South Africa and the US. The recruits have come from over 40 different universities.

Chief Executive, Mark Reynolds said: “On behalf of the Group Board, I am pleased to welcome our 2016 graduate intake, and encourage them to make the most of the opportunities on offer and wish them long and successful careers at Mace.”
