Hannah Vickers becomes Mace's Global Head of Advisory

Mace, the global programme and project delivery consultant and construction expert, has announced that Hannah Vickers, who has served as the company’s Chief of Staff for three years will take up a new role from August as Global Head of Advisory; to grow the service within its Consult Engine.

Hannah joined Mace in 2021 from the Association for Consultancy and Engineering where she served as Chief Executive and prior to that she was an advisor to Ministers at HM Treasury in the UK.

In her new role Hannah will lead the Advisory consultancy, responsible for the creation of strategies, business cases and delivering transformation for clients, investors and sponsors across the world.

In the last year, Mace has seen an increase in demand for business and strategic advisory services across the four global hubs and has ambitious plans to grow the service through leveraging group capabilities to bring practical insights to increase delivery confidence, enhance productivity and create value.

Hannah will retain membership of the Construction Leadership Council where she leads on productivity and net zero.

As part of the move, David Hendy will step into the role of Chief of Staff for Mark Reynolds. David joined Mace in 2017, and for the last five years has led Mace’s Corporate Communications function. He was appointed Communications Director in January 2024.

Hannah Vickers, Global Head of Business Advisory, Mace Consult, commented:

“As Mace Consult has accelerated its growth across the globe our capabilities have developed too. This has in turn opened the door for us to expand our advisory services to clients, investors and sponsors.

“The world is only increasing in complexity, with the need to mobilise private finance, navigate political change, achieve net zero and deliver more productivity we’re in a unique position to advise clients. I’m excited to take this forward with a world-class team underpinned by qualitative analysis to bring confidence to our clients during this period of uncertainty.”

Davendra Dabasia, CEO, Mace Consult, says:

“Shaping cities and helping clients build sustainable communities across the globe is in our DNA and Hannah’s consultancy experience and expertise in delivering complex solutions for major organisations will be a significant asset to our clients.

“From socio-economic assessment and strategic planning to value-based commercial strategies, risk management and assurance, Mace’s unique expertise means we are in a position to advise our clients long before a programme or project breaks ground.”
